HotBlogorNot.com on 1st page Yahoo and 5th page on Google

Yep you read it correctly!

After heavy work for a few weeks www.HotBlogorNot.com hits on the first page on Yahoo.com with ” promote your blog”  .. that is something, it is very exciting and this shows what can be accomplished after hard work. Yahoo gives 290.000.000 results on that specific keyword, and Hot Blog or Not is on the first page. How can I not be excited? I will continue to work hard to boost that site onto the first pages all across the internet ;-)

Hurry, hurry … just copy the documents for my new blog entry. And then after you finished writing your entry, quickly hop to another task, building your social network. Meanwhile you eat your sandwich or dinner while using the computer. You do not have time for a short break. The comments on your blog has to wait until tomorrow, you don’t have the time now. You quickly tweet your articles on twitter. Oh, eh, my commenter’s, completely forgotten. Well, had no time for that … I will do it tomorrow.

Moi!? Suspended on Twitter

Well, I kind of expected it to happen. I broke the rules ;-) I will explain what happened… Twitter is a perfect medium to get your message out there. A lot of huge companies are using Twitter to get their message across or they use it for advertisement purposes. It really is a perfect tool to get your message out there. Just with a single press on the button and you spread your message among your followers, and if you have a lot of followers … your message will be read by many and if you provide a link with it, that will be clicked as well. So it’s a big numbers game basically. The more followers you have, the more potential visitors. And in the end, traffic is what we want right? And so, my friends, Yesterday it crossed my mind to start following people on Twitter on a massive scale.

Creating backlinks with a Press release

Last Saturday I issued a press-release, a press release with fabricated information. Why? Well, I was browsing the web and stumbled on a website where it was explained that with a press release you have the potential to generate a massive amount of backlinks. For a second I considered myself very lucky to stumble on this ‘secret treasure’ … Imagine issuing a press release that the media all around the world  will pick up and spread around through their channels, imagine the amount backlinks :-) OF COURSE I was interested and highly motivated to take this thing for a spin.
